5/17/2023 0 Comments Virgo man taurus moon secretsThe path is strictly dependant on opportunities. TQ Virgo in the Ascendant Position 1st Decan of Virgo Virgo rising denotes a quiet, reserved, retiring and receptive disposition. This may be her way to break out of confining stereotypes. At times, she may react to her repressive background by rejecting it and adopting a bohemian lifestyle. She is probably better prepared to fulfill her marital duties in the nonsexual sphere, playing the role of partner-wife-hostess-matron, than she is to play out the fantasy of being her husband's whore in bed. Her sexual identity runs mostly along conservative lines her greatest goal is frequently a stable marriage to the most suitable man. The Virgo Woman, because she is often a good girl and a perfectionist, frequendy absorbs a double dose of the messages passed on by her mother and by the times. It is seldom easy for her to overcome sexual guilt or the fear of being inadequate. She is apt to be disciplined, strong, and high-minded, and she is often repressed. She tends to develop technical proficiency before she develops sexual soul. The Virgo Woman has learned our cultural messages about sex only too well. Here are some of their comments, typical of the Virgo attitude toward anger The first woman has the quintessential Virgo attitude prior to enlightenment (the term my classes have used to denote the point of no return in a person's self-awareness). I came to this conclusion after interviewing a number of women who are Virgo types or who were going through a Virgo phase. The Virgo Woman is likely to be ignorant of the basic steps to take in coping with anger the identification of anger and its proper expression. So-called sex crimes, such as rape, are extreme examples of the explosion of pent-up violent anger. Violence and poor emotional functioning often result. Anger, in general, is considered socially unacceptable, and for this reason most of us are taught to repress it. Her other main problem is that she fears expressing it. The Virgo Woman's greatest problem with anger is that she seldom recognizes it. Both Virgo and Neptune are concerned with this important function. Without proper trafficking of the vitality globules the body would degenerate. Besides producing many types of blood cells, the spleen splits up the prana on an etheric level. Thought by many sources to be ruled by the Sun, the spleen also falls under Virgo's domain. Without Virgo's proper breaking down and utilization of these two products people can become prone to diabetes or hypoglycemia, both sugar-related diseases. The internal secretion from the pancreas also includes the hormones insulin and glycogen, both of which play a vital role in the carbohydrate metabolism. This gland is concerned with the proper release of pancreatic juices that will digest all kinds of food. These functions are especially evident in the pancreas, which Virgo rules. Virgo's main job is to breakdown, analyze and organize. Veins Portal, hepatics, umbilical and intestinal.

The massive ocean sink has dramatically affected ocean climate change and ecosystem. Not to lose a sight of fact, natural resources of CO 2, which can come from ocean degassing, plant photosynthesis, and volcanic eruptions, are reviewed as a natural sink contributing toward rapid atmospheric CO 2 build-up. The global dependency on fossil fuel as feedstocks has contributed to most CO 2 emissions. This expected increase would reverse 80% of the drop in 2020, with emissions reaching 1.2% (or 400 Mt) below 2019 emissions levels The CO 2 emission rate has continued to grow, which is expected to elevate the Earth’s temperature into a new elevated level without intervention. Coal demand alone is projected to increase by 60% more than all renewables combined, underpinning a rise in emissions of almost 5% or 1500 Mt. Demand for all fossil fuels was set to grow significantly from 2021. Global energy-related CO 2 emissions are heading for their second-largest annual increase ever. This review provides insights into recent works on core-shell catalysts for thermocatalytic CO 2 conversion into syngas and fuels However, cost-effective and simple synthesis methods and feasible mechanisms on core-shell catalysts remain to be developed. Substantial progress has been achieved to implement core-shell in direct or indirect thermocatalytic CO 2 reactions, such as methanation, methanol synthesis, Fischer–Tropsch synthesis, and dry reforming methane. Core-shell is a recently emerged nanomaterial that offers confinement effect to preserve multiple functionalities from sintering in CO 2 conversions. Conventional catalysts suffer from a lack of precise structural control, which is detrimental toward selectivity, activity, and stability. Therefore, a key research focus on thermocatalytic CO 2 conversion is to develop high-performance and selective catalysts even at low temperatures while suppressing side reactions. However, these processes are still immature for industrial applications because of their thermodynamic and kinetic limitations caused by rapid catalyst deactivation due to fouling, sintering, and poisoning under harsh conditions. For decades, thermocatalytic CO 2 conversions into clean fuels and specialty chemicals through catalytic CO 2 hydrogenation and CO 2 reforming using green hydrogen and pure methane sources have been under scrutiny. CO 2 utilization is the prominent solution to curb not only CO 2 but other greenhouse gases, such as methane, on a large scale. A 45% national reduction in CO 2 emissions has been projected by government to realize net zero carbon in 2030. Carbon-intensive industries must deem carbon capture, utilization, and storage initiatives to mitigate rising CO 2 concentration by 2050. 5/16/2023 0 Comments Cuprum extension ladderThis is Auction Number 1 and includes the contents of the large garage, sheds, lawn and garden items and more. I remember when they were announced on the lineup and tickets had already sold out. This was the first time I was seeing the band live since the Lollapalooza tour. There were a couple of us, but I didn’t know the others. “When you watch the video on YouTube, you can see me, I’m the guy pumping my fists to Jerry’s side of the stage. Joe Matthias was a die-hard fan of Alice In Chains, and he had traveled from New York City to catch the band in Kansas City. You’d think you were witnessing a 15 year gap between his performances from Dirt to now, and it was like three or four years. I remember their Dirt tour just a few years earlier, but you couldn’t believe this was the same guy. The guy was a professional, but it seemed to me like he didn’t want to be there. I’m watching the band from the side of the stage and they are really into it, and then Layne is just standing there. Palmer continues, “That’s the sad thing about drugs and what it can do to you, I was working in the profession but I was a music fan, I had my dream job. As much as we wanted it to be, this wasn’t the Layne Staley that we all remembered. Rooted to the spot where his microphone stand stood, every so often shaking his head to the music. Sean Kinney was fully committed to energizing the band, and then there was Layne Staley. Jerry Cantrell struck his chords of his guitar with everything he had, knowing that this could be Alice In Chains’ final show for some time. From what I saw they had the support of the folks from Kansas, no one was hiding the fact that they had their problems.”ĭuring set opener “Again,” Mike Inez jumped around, with his legs wide apart, and his head down and ferociously banging. “He was really happy, this was a KISS crowd for sure but the fans were into Alice, plus they had their own fans there. “Jerry went on stage and kind of looked back in surprise,” says Palmer. The lights went down and a huge roar greeted the band. I’m pretty sure one of their guys had to run down the hall and knock on Jerry Cantrell’s door to get it sorted, I remember there was panic at the time.” I remember having to ask one of their guys where are the setlists? That clearly wasn’t my job, but I didn’t want anyone to screw up. Usually you’ll have five, maybe ten copies lying around the stage – and there were none. “What I remember,” says Steve Palmer, an in house technician at the Kemper Arena that night, “is that they were coming on stage in like three minutes or so and no one from their crew had put out the setlists. Layne Staley’s final concert took place on an early Wednesday evening on Jin Kansas City at the Kemper Arena. Alice In Chains may have played just a small part of the tour, but for dedicated AIC fans the shows remain significant, as these were Layne Staley’s final live shows with the band. The Alive/Worldwide tour opened up in Detroit at Tiger Stadium on Jin front of 40,000 fans, and ended a year later after almost 200 shows. Layne Staley performing live with Alice In Chains at Tiger Stadium on June 28, 1996. But Alice in Chains were now ready to return to the road to support a band that they had grown up listening to, committing to four opening slots with KISS. This decision was shocked the music industry given that the record had shot to No. A couple of television performances followed, but Alice in Chains had not toured behind their self-titled record released in November 1995. The second was their high profile comeback show of sorts when they were invited to play on the prestigious MTV Unplugged series. The first was the lone show to promote Jar of Flies in Los Angeles in January 1994, a charity concert with Fishbone. Indeed, the band from Seattle had played just two concerts since then, and both had been acoustic shows. Staley’s heroin addiction had meant that Alice In Chains had in effect ceased touring since the Dirt tour ended in 1993. In came Alice In Chains, a band that also had problems with their enigmatic lead singer, Layne Staley. However, Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland entering rehab forced STP to pull out. It was no surprise that tickets sold out in minutes. Set to join KISS on tour were Stone Temple Pilots, who had once performed dressed as KISS in 1993. KISS were reuniting with their original lineup of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, the two former band members were joining Stanley and Simmons on stage for the first time since 1979. In 1996 the biggest story in rock music hit MTV News with a thud, and we all ran for tickets to what would surely be the hottest gig that summer. 5/16/2023 0 Comments Greed corp bonus carrierThis is the sentiment that Trump played to so effectively during the 2016 presidential campaign. “When you start taking away the middle class, what do you have left?” “The big picture is that American jobs are leaving this country to exploit cheap labor,” he said. He began trying for a position back in Indiana - at Rexnord - and even drove 14 hours for an interview only to be turned down in five minutes. In preparation for being sold, the company began to downsize. “That was really hard.”Īnd then the job in Texas dried up. They knew no one, and Feltner found himself on the road four days a week, traveling a territory that covered six states. The Feltners pulled their kids out of school and moved just outside of Dallas. Eventually, he won a promotion and a transfer - to Texas. He went on to manage their fleet of vehicles, ran purchasing in the mailroom and moved into the loss control department. We nevertheless have chosen to study of this material because (1) the taphonomic characteristics of the specimens and the Disclosure of interest We initially faced two difficulties: (1) the studied material is from “historical” collections and has not been bed-by-bed sampled and (2) most of the studied specimens are fragmentary. In the present work, we have studied a sample of 54 Ancyloceras specimens from the Argiles à Plicatules Formation (lower Aptian of the Paris Basin), including the lectotype of A. The specimens discarded from the statistical analysis are fragments of proversum and spiral that share Systematicsġ842 Ancyloceras varians sp. The results of the statistical analysis allow us to consider the study sample as homogeneous for the following reasons: (1) the distributions of H and W are unimodal and do not depart from normality and (2) the distribution of R is considered ‘more or less’ unimodal because the small pick for the high values of R is not considered to be significant as it is only determined by two specimens. Only H and W are linked by isometric function and are thus regarded as ‘dependent’ variables (see Bersac and Bert, 2015 for Homogeneity of the study sample The results of the bivariate analysis are given in Fig. The value of Ds is 50.6 mm and the ratio between Ds and L is 22.6% for the specimen No. The total length L of the two subcomplete specimens is respectively 149.8 and 224 mm (respectively Fig. The results of the univariate analysis are given in Table 1. 5/16/2023 0 Comments Spideroak encryptr reviewSpiderOak Hive is presented like any other folder on your computer This is a unique feature that lets you back up files by simply dragging and dropping them into the Hive folder SpiderOak places on your desktop upon install. And it does offer some additional features that make life easy. When it comes to ease of use, installing the SpiderOak One desktop app and setting up your account is as simple as it gets. But the desktop app interface isn’t the most user-friendly, so it takes some time to get used to and some effort to get comfortable with it.īut once you know what you’re doing, using SpiderOak One is a breeze. They’re physically staffed 24/7 and have sophisticated security that keeps your data protected at all times, from all threats.Įasy to Use Once You Know What You’re Doing The data you back up is stored in state-of-the-art server facilities in the midwestern US owned by SpiderOak. These data centers meet some of the strictest compliance, infrastructure, and audit schedules in the business. The only security feature SpiderOak One doesn’t have (that some competitors do) is two-factor authentication. They’re also protected by certificate pinning (validation of trusted hosts) to prevent attacks. Your transfers use 256-bit AES encryption and industry-standard SSL. These keys are unlocked with your password. SpiderOak One uses layered encryption, so a new key is created for each of your files, folders, and versions of your files. Security starts with your password (private encryption key) that you create on your computer, not a web form. The only downside: SpiderOak One can’t help you recover your password if you forget it. What does “No Knowledge” mean exactly? It means no one but you can decrypt, see, or access your password, files, and folders. This gives you arguably the best data protection on the cloud backup market. SpiderOak One uses “No Knowledge” encryption to give your data NSA-level protection on your computer, in transit, and while it’s stored on SpiderOak’s servers. While there’s no mobile app, you can still download files to your mobile device through your SpiderOak One account online. That includes every historical version of your files. This point-in-time recovery gives you the security of knowing that if you suffer any type of data loss, your files will be protected and you can restore any version you want. One thing I like is that SpiderOak One retains every file on your account until you delete it. (See Performance for my experience with restores.)Īnd, unfortunately, you don’t get an offline restore option with SpiderOak One. Restoring files from the SpiderOak One desktop app is fast and easy, but you can’t restore directly from the Hive. You can run backups from every five minutes to once a week Restores If you prefer continuous or scheduled backups, you just need to go into the desktop app preferences to make the change. You have the choice of automatic, continuous, or scheduled backups. After your initial backup, subsequent ones are automatic by default. This means you might have trouble uploading files larger than 10GB. While SpiderOak One doesn’t have “hard limits” on file sizes, there are “practical limits” of 10GB for individual files uploaded via the desktop app. You can back up an unlimited number of computers, as well as external hard drives, removable devices, and some network volumes. SpiderOak One gives you two ways to back up your data: through the desktop app or using the SpiderOak Hive folder it places on your computer. Both will back up your files to the cloud, but backing up your files with the Hive will give you added functionality. But you can still access your account and download or share files from any mobile device with an internet connection.Īnd SpiderOak One has cross-platform functionality, so you can access your backup, sync your devices, and share your files no matter the operating system. It’s missing a few basics, though – like offline backup or restore, email backup reports or notifications, and a mobile app. SpiderOak One boasts some exciting and unique features. “No Knowledge,” 256-bit AES, private encryption keys Automatic (default), continuous (optional), scheduled (optional), backup from external drive, multi-device syncingįile type restrictions, fair use limits, no file size limits |
